    Re: Cheese Grater

I use a rotary grater like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zyliss-Etch...ateway&sr=8-26

Other makes that operate in a similar way are available.

Best for a kitchen is a countertop manual rotary drum grater. Electric ones are a waste of money, unless you have a physical restriction that necessitates one. Handhelds can be awkward and have less capacity.
Countertops spill into a bowl or something and can usually handle an entire large carrot, courgette, potato or whatever you want. They're also usually very easy to strip and clean, most likely dishwasher safe.
We had one from the 70s with a metal stand and vacuum cup, but it was still the absolute best I ever had.

As for which one and where/how much - That's highly subjective and there are absolutely loads of different ones. You can go for a £300 srubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishy one, get a 70s one from a charity shop for a couple of quid, or all sorts in between.
    Have a Google around.

    Re: Cheese Grater

It also depends on which cheese.

Grating a really hard cheese, of the Parmesan variety, requires IMHO) a really good grater or it blunts them pretty quickly. Also, a very fine blade.

Grating cheddar, etc, can be done with anything fron a cheap box grater to a grater blade on a high-end food processor. The latter is probably only justified if you have a LOT to grate.

As fir grating Brie or Camembert ...
