    B E E R

it has been brought to my rather keen attention that

LANCASTER BOMBER exists as a beer

I aint tried it yet, but I'm gonna..and so isTumble...when he's not hungover

    http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/thwaite...-bomber/17536/

now as you mostly know I love beer. Love. As in marry. Love beer.

My 2nd personal favourite is Black Sheep by quite a large margin. All bar one other, rarer beer, it kills most stuff dead.

I'd also like to announce one other mind bogglingly good beer find.
    which I HAVE tried..last night....hmm.

Now this is gonna sound....weird. But put your taste buds trust in my hands, cos this is stunning.

Peach Blossom. In the beer. Its frikkin amazing. Hoppy but smooth, long taste, ad the fruit smell and taste is perfect with this ale.

Badger Golden Champion is my fav beer of the moment, will give Golden Glory a go. Went to visit Shepherd Neame last year, the home of Spitfire, well worth a visit if you are in Kent

Lanc is actually rather nice; quite a heavy beer to my taste (appropriately enough, I suppose). A few pubs locally keep it.

hehe.. wot a hangover.. what's probably more silly/scary is that i drove down to St Johns this afternoon and spent a couple of hours throwing a box of ammunition down the range... aaaanyway.. I'll have to see if it's in stock at the shop up the road - usually got quite an eclectic selection of ale up there

oh.. and Zak mate.. sorry about the drunken text essay you got at half past stupid o clock last night/this morning..

People after my own heart. Badger make some lovely brews alright. As do Shepherd Neame. Tried some Spitfire about 8 years ago and have been hooked since. Tis one of the benifts of living in the country. Well the UK really - where else in the world can you get such fine ales? People who go on about continental pissy larger need a slap imo.

I fact I'm drinking a bottle of Shepherds Neame 'master brew' right at this very second. Anyone here had a go on Bishops Finger or Bannana Bread beer yet? A tidy drop.

    Adnams
    Gales HSB
    Wadsworth 6X

and sommit else, all totally different in flavour although the 6X tokk the flibb award for the evening.

Bit of a tip drink sambuca after your last pint, not before. Totally arses up the taste

I too am a fan of beer. I always have the guest ale in the village pubs in the summer. Once I had a Honey beer and it was yummy, pretty odd really as I do not like honey.

Sounds like Waggle Dance. Used to be even nicer before it got bought by another brewery and they changed it a little.

Ale fiends may find Quaffale a useful link; my former boss runs it, and you'd be very hard pushed to find a more comprehensive list of breweries and beer fests anywhere.

Very nice selection Badger make some awsome Ales, Tangle Foot is exceptional. I can reccomend Directors Courage and Dark Lord.

Try some beers from Kelham Island brewery, its not far from me and the beer is loveley, Pale Rider and Fat Cat mild are two of my favorites.
