    Learn cooking

    Hello

Hope this is relevant to this sub. But does anyone know of any profiles on YouTube that have a playlist of videos to teach cooking from the ground up?. I can cook things if I have clear instructions follow but I feel like I need to expand my knowledge

    Re: Learn cooking

Binging with babish has a "basics with babish" series. Those meal recipe box services might be a good start too. You get all the ingredients and a recipe to follow.

You could also check out Cranble, which is a sister site to HEXUS.
Some very good, simple recipes on there.

Really though, if you mean that cannot cook a single thing whatsoever and need total supervision just to boil an egg, then an actual beginners cookery course with a live instructor would be far more beneficial - A YouTube video can only show you the right way. It cannot reach out of your screen and point out where you're going wrong or what you're missing.

+1 for Binging With Babish, though. Get yourself a tiny whisk!

    Re: Learn cooking

Thanks for the tips guys (almost all of you). I'll have a browse through those suggestions and see what I can pick up. It's not that I can't cook or that I'm utterly useless. I just feel like other people jump at new recipes with ease and hardly need the instructions whereas I'm more comfortable following them step by step
