Have a look in Argos/Dixons/Currys. I just bought an LG microwave. Dont think it cost that much, but its well nifty, and its silver too with a metal casing.

You can get fairly dirt cheap ones, but sometimes it's worth paying that little bit extra to make sure you get a microwave which will last.

Good quality but cheap? You'll be lucky

Anything you buy for under about £50 will be roughly the same - just go for whatever takes your fancy.

We've got one, but I've not used in years, never had the need tbh. But you get what you pay for up to a point. at that price point it's all going to be a git samey. All I would say is watch the capapcity as not all micro's are created equal.

The Sharp one I bought in 1995 packed up last year or I replaced it as it was looking a bit battered - can't remember.

Now using a Sanyo but not as quick good as the Sharp. No one button start on it.

Would recommend you spend a bit extra rather than buying a £30 (Daewoo or other cheap make) one from the supermarket.
