Jon and i had an Indian takeaway last night and we ordered some Aloo Gobi to have with it and Jon loves the stuff so i thought i'd have a go at making him some

Way I do it is to use my recipe for Bombay Aloo (http://www.onlinecookerybook.co.uk/i...p?articleid=23) and half the potato content & substitute it with par-boiled cauliflower. Not strictly the correct way, but works for me
Oooh thank you i'll be trying that, iv'e got two Indian cookbooks and neither of them has the recipe for Aloo Gobi

If this is Cauliflower & Potato, the best recipe for it by far is the one in Madhur Jaffery's Eastern Vegetarian Cookery.
Cauliflower and potato with Fennel and Fenugreek seed. I must have it at least one a fortnight.
