Suggestion for what to cook with wine

Specifically half a bottle of good red that neither meself or Hex can face drinking (neither of us are red wine people)

I can buy almost any ingredients within reason.

Have already had beef this week so ideally something else - we can get venison relatively cheap from a local butchers if that helps...

Spag bol is amazing with red wine(& tomatoes, basil, garlic & onions)
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

I recommend you buy some other alcohol, get a little pissed, and then drink the wine when it tastes good. Cheers.

May I suggest you cook lamb with roast potatoes and green beans. After frying the lamb, put a little red wine in the pan to mix with the juices to make your sauce. mmm! lovely
