Alcoholic Dr pepper:

1/2 pint lager
2 shots of amaretto
top up with black currant

As a teenager, my aforementioned brother used to drink DrBeerSmarts. They were drinkable, but the point was mainly the comedy name:

Half a pint of beer
Top up with DrPepper
chuck half a tube of Smarties in as a garnish

Cocktails are great

Tried a new one this evening:

Mad Russian:

1 Vodka
1 Baileys
1 Tia Maria

Blue heaven:

3 measure of pineapple juice
1 measure of white rum
1/4 measure of amaretto
1/4 measure of lime
1/2 measure of blue curacao

pour in ice, shake, sieve and serve.

...goes down like regular fruit juice, the secret being the tiny amount of amaretto masks the rum flavour.
