At last have just ordered an induction hotplate, after wanting one since seeing it on Tomorrows World many years ago.
Anyone have experience using them, maybe some observations of what they can't do so well?
I know that the pans have to be of ferrous material. Will have to replace my aluminium stockpot if using the new induction is worthwhile. But all my pans are magnet sticky.
When I worked at a american charge card company in Brighton 19 years ago I used to love watching the making of an omelette on an induction hotplate, the speed and control was dazzling! Can't wait to crack open some eggs!
