Caesar Salad - good or bad?

I'm trying to find a healthier option on my hotel restaurant's room service menu list.

I could walk down to the restauarant and explore the full menu that will undoubtedly contain many healthier options. However, i'm too knackered to do so after a gym workout in the evenings.

So, I tend to order off the room service menu. It's very limited with only the following options:

    1. A hamburger with...chips

    2. A club sandwich

    3. Some veal main course dish with potatoes

    4. A caesar salad

    Erm...that's it!

So, which of these is the healthiest? I've tried all of them and the hamburger and chips tastes the best! However, it probably is the most calorie-laden of the lot (with the club sandwich coming a close second).

Most people would probably guess that the Caesar Salad would be the healthiest option but I've seen some reports stating that a Caesar Salad is not much healthier than a Big Mac and Fries! Is that actually true?

you could ask for it light on the dressing. The macdonalds caesar salad has so much dressing that i think it does contain as many calories as the big mac :\ I'd go for the Veal and potatoes.

The Ceaser Salad is renowned for being unhealthy ( yet soo tasty ! )

club sandwich with light Mayo and lean bacon woudl be quite good , but otherwise the veal ( assuming its not in a cream sauce ! ) would be the best one.

Club sandwich on wholemeal or granary, no mayo.

Caesar is damn nice, but would have to have a low-fat option. Fresh shaved parmesan and anchovies
