    Pasta machines

    not as easy as they look huh?


    anyone got any handy tips on using them? first time today.. bit of an abortion but got it semi-right in the end...

    Have you got a hand operated one? If so, just keep putting the pasta through again and again until it starts to smooth out. First couple of times we tried ours we couldn't get it thin enough, but if you keep at it, eventually it comes out beautifully...

    Just out of interest, how much did you pay for the machine?

    yes it's a hand cranked one.. and I don't know how much I paid for it, I got it as a christmas pressie
