Fruit teas get my vote :

Lemon & Ginger (good for colds)
Liquorice (really nice, a good digestif)
Blackcurrant Ginseng & Vanilla (my breakfast tea)
Spiced Apple and Chamomile (my bedtime tea, very soothing)

Vodka ? Must be straight out of the freezer in a frozen glass, with a whole lemon squeezed into it.
    Cheers, David

Here it was, in all its glory:

    Regretably, I didn't like it!

I found it to be a little too sweet, perhaps I used to much Ribena. On the other hand, maybe I should have mentioned I don't have any sugar in my tea so I'm not used to such sweet hot drinks. It wasn't too bad, it was certainly drinkable, just wasn't as refreshing as a nice cuppa tea!

if you don't like it sweet, then try Blackcurrent herbal tea. I used to think it was vial, but i don't take sugar in tea or coffee, so am used to it now.

I rather like hot lemon - 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, teaspoon of sugar, top up with hot water.

I think it's been mentioned above, but I prefer Green tea to the normal stuff, although I'd just go for the straight stuff, not any of the ones with flavourings (lemon, orange, jasmine whatever else...)

A bit of an acquired taste but there's also Rooibos tea (also called Redbush). It has quite a strong spiced taste to it. I find it's quite nice every now again, but wouldn't want to drink it all the time. Also no Caffeine if you're bothered by that sort of thing.

I used to drink hot Ribena a lot as a kid, but I find it much too sweet nowadays. The Blackcurrant infusions aren't too bad though, although I prefer that sort of thing more in summer.

Stewart, I believe you may have hit the nail on the head! Trying to resist tea is proving to be futile!

    tea is so... TEA tho.

ill tell you a weird one that you probably cant try but its something to mull over.

a good few years ago the yates's pub near me had an offer on "Holsten fusion" (lager with fruit flavour to it), £1 a bottle.. being too good to miss me and some other ppl from work managed to drink there entire supply... apart from a few bottles that were on display on some shelving next to lights. we decided that we would try said bottles...

they were really quite warm, and surprisingly nice!!!!

Ye , I love tea as well but take it with milk which I am going to try and stop as it counters any good properties that the tea may have- according to the latest report. Also drink 'high juice' concentrate which is very good.
