How long can i keep beef frying steaks frozen for?

I was digging around the freezer and found a packet of beef frying steak with BBE 23SEP. But its been frozen since purchase.

I dont know what the guideline on this is so i was just wondering if theres a general rule?

haha yeah, i dont have much meat knowledge/experience and keep finding dodgy meats in our student fridge.

can't call mum up for advice so i end up asking daft questions on the internet!
