As you can see from the other thread in this forum Pat was on holiday, so I suspect that might have something to do with it.. No doubt the man himself will reply in due course :)

Chippy its often the distributors that fool the retailers, it might even go further back than that, i doubt Komplett knew of this.

Any update on the XT's Pat ? Such as when your getting them, and if your likely to do a similar deal on them as you are here with the Pros and the Ultras. Id really like an XT and if you are gonna offer this kinda deal on them and beat OCUK id order one of those, but if not itd be ahrd to pass up this offer if its still on :)

give the guy a break, hes been on holiday. Im sure he has other things to attend to before he logs on here, and offers discounts to some rather ungreatful people.

Chippy - grow up, and patience is a virtue. Im waiting for my MSI Neo Platinum, and Gainward 6800 Ultra GS from Komplett. Im not getting all hot and bothered because I know the product has not shipped to retail yet. PAT might be wanting to give good customer service, but hes not got a magic wand to make lead times vanish on new lines.
Chippy - grow up
Dogmanstar, who the <beep> do you think you are telling me to grow up?

Patience is a virtue? Yes and so is not jumping into threads and insulting people. You should try it sometime.

And BTW, I know all about being patient. That is why I am now patiently waiting for my X800XT. The whole point of compromising and getting a 'Pro was so I could have it now. But since I now have to wait until mid-June, there is no point. So that is why I have cancelled. Gettit.

    Goodbye.

Look guys, Pat isnt here at the moment so im going to close this thread until he is back and can answer your questions.
Ranting and going crazy at each other will not help things get done faster.

Pat - you can reopen this thread with the "thread tools" selection at the top.

Thread reopened. It was doing more good than evil, so... I apologise for going on holiday. I swear I'll never do it again... ;) (at least not without posting on the forums first).

The date has been pushed forward as we have not received the cards from the supplier yet. This is why the date has not been "Confirmed" this far. When it says "Unconfirmed" it basically means that the date may change. Now, it does not have to change for the worse. Theoretically we could receive the cards tomorrow, so let's cross our fingers. :)

All of you who emailed should have received a reply by now. I've spent quite some time discounting all those orders today. And if you cancelled your order because you did not receive a reply; the offer is still valid and you are free to place your order again. :) Keep in mind that some of our batches have sold out and that is also why the date may change. If one batch sells out, the next batch will naturally take another week or two (or three) to get here.

Currently 4 countries are being served from the same warehouse and therefore also the same stock. Customers in UK/IE/DE/NL are all hungry for these cards and some items are being ordered away long before we've even had the chance to advertise it properly. :)

    Pat,

Thanks for your most helpful comments. I am afraid I cancelled my order because I wanted to get a card in my hands very soon. Since your date has been pushed back - and therefore I will have to wait - I figured I might as well wait for an X800XT. Any news on price and availability for that?

    Thanks

    Chip

EDIT: I just checked and you are now listing the Powercolor X800XT at £370 on 10 day lead time. Are you offering us a special deal on that? Thanks again.

    Hi Pat

Just out of interest, are the discounted prices fixed (e.g. £offerprice) or proportionate to the selling price on the store (£storeprice - £discount)? I ask only because the 6800 GT has come down by several pounds, and I was wondering the discounted price will follow suit. Nowt like cheek, I know, but it every little would help ;)

    Kind Regards

It now says "4 pcs 2004-06-28 (unconfirmed)", I'd be interested to know what our special price is on these ;)

If you can find the same card cheaper elsewhere (online UK retailer), let me know the link and I'll see what magic I can perform. :)
