Hi Pat

Just out of interest, are the discounted prices fixed (e.g. £offerprice) or proportionate to the selling price on the store (£storeprice - £discount)? I ask only because the 6800 GT has come down by several pounds, and I was wondering the discounted price will follow suit. Nowt like cheek, I know, but it every little would help ;)

    Kind Regards
If you find any item cheaper on another UK online retailer, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Some I'll be able to match, others not. It's worth a try. :)

I'm looking into it. Round up some more people to buy it and I'll have a stronger case when arguing this for my superiors. :)

    Hi Pat,

Found another buyer for you. There's a guy called Movieman over at the Rage3d forums. He said he would probably buy as well if the price is around £330.

Hope you can fix it for us ;-)

    Cheers,

    Chip

    Hi Pat,

After reading Chippy's post on the Rage3D forums, I thought I'd mosey on over to place another vote for an x800xt from Komplett... Bought from you guys before and never had any problems, so if you can do me a card for sub £350 I'll be happy to buy from you again! :) Maybe pick up one of the new socket 939 A64s too if you get them in stock soon?

    Good man, er "Daddy".

OK Pat, thats 4 of us and counting. So hows about £325? Surely you would list the regular Sapphire at around £350. So £325 is a £25 saving - which is approximately the same deal as you offered us on the X800 Pro's.

Go on, make my day! I won't even charge you commission on these extra orders for you ;-)

    Count me in like Flynn....

I'll take one at £325, and like the good sir above me i'll take a 939 CPU, MB + Memory, case, soundcard and all the other stuff....

I'll be spending well over a grand, just as soon as the XT arrives along with 939.

Pat, I have another couple of potential buyers I have found for you as well. I think we are up to 9 or 10 now.

BTW, just to give you some more "ammo" for your superiors....

Gateway in the US now have X800XT's in stock for immediate delivery. The retail price is $434. This is £237 retail, including delivery!

Time and time again, I see the argument about EU prices being higher because of VAT and duty. Well even adding 17.5% to that makes the price £278. Add a further 4% import duty and the price is £289.

I struggle to see why we have to pay so much more here in the EU. I know you will do your best to get us the fairest deal you can.

    Cheers,

    Chip

Just an update from my side boys; I'm still working on it. Trying to find out when we'll have the Sapphire X800XT on our site and what price we would then be able to give you. No promises yet though. :)
