    Friday the 13th - Just don't bother

I made the mistake of going to see the remake of Friday the 13th, for some reason I expected an engaging semi decent story, but instead was very disappointed. What could have been good has been ruined ...

Its done well to have made US box office number 1!

Has anyone else made the mistake of seeing it?

I was going to see it on friday night but couldnt find any cinemas up in the lake disctrict showing it.

Is it really that poor? I had heard from some ppl that its better than a lot of the remakes hollywood has been churning out latel(texas chainsaw. Hills have eyes etc)

Its one of the worst horror films I think i've seen other then Jason X

I'd be surprised if you enjoy the formula, Michael Bay is a producer on it ...

I do hope The Unborn for which he is also a producer is better, I really like the look of that from the trailers.

You are kidding right? Semi. decent. story. Friday 13th. Digit, it's friday the 13th!! Come on. For everyone out there requiring a few little spoilers on story/background to the Friday 13th movies, here goes.

blood & gore. sex, boobies. boy drowns. Mom blames camp counsellers. Kills said counsellers. Gets killed by a counseller.

    Friday 13th part 2
blood & gore. sex, boobies. Boy actually seen Mom die and years later (5 and he's a grown man now) kills a bunch of camp counsellers at a nearby camp..

Part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6 part 7 etc......are you still watching for the plot?

Friday 13th (remake) Take all the best story elements from previous parts 1 & 2(!!) mix together, release, make money.
