I'm putting together a PC and am wondering if it's better to get 2GB DDR2 or 4GB DDR2?
Ebuyer are doing 4GB Corsair for £35 at the moment. Can't see prices falling any more?
PC will be used for surfing mostly.
Thank you.

If your only using it for surfing then 2Gb would be adequate, however for £35 its a bargin and would get that anyway.

I'd go for the 4GB too. Especially if your using onboard graphics.

Yup, 4gb all the way, especially at that price.

If your installing XP then restrict the motheroard to 1gig during the install. My asus new build with quad core cpu kept hanging with blue screen because i had installed too much ram initally!!
Id def go 4gb as vista eats RAM for example, just an idle it use 1.3gb and photoshop and apps like that are Ram hungry so definately 4gb
