    RAM problem

    I installed my dual channel ram is what I thought was recommended slots for a GD65. It only recognised 2gb so I switched one to another slot and it now recognises 4 GB. Is it not running in dual channel mode or not? How can I check?

    CPU-Z says single channel. How do I fix this? What is recommended slots for dual cahnnel on an MSi GD-65?

    try using slots 2 and 4.

    Will do, just downloading AVG (realised a minute ago I had no anti virus at all )

    Ok, It was a bit temperamental for a while but got it running now in dual channel (in original 1 and 3 which randonly started working) @ 1600mhz 6-7-7-7-21 and 200mhz bclock with 19x multi for 3.8Ghz
