    RAM Question

    Hi all :-)

    Just finished my first build & seems OK :-)

    Just one question though... CPU-Z shows my RAM frequency as shown here...








    Is this right???

    System Spec:

    Mobo: GA-P55M-UD2
    CPU: i5-750 @3.2GHZ
    RAM: Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D
    PSU: Corsair VX550W
    GPU: XFX 4890
    HDD: Samsung F1 500Gb

    If you're saying you want to get to 1600Mhz, you need to overclock the RAM to to 800Mhz and increase (loosen) the timings to 9-9-9-26 most likely. You might also need to increase RAM voltage by a bit but I haven't played around with an i5 so I can't comment on that. Right now your memory is running at 1280Mhz (640*2) just FYI.
