Does anybody know where its possible to buy an 8GB 14900(1866MHz) CL8 kit? I know G.Skill and Crucial do make kits with that spec but I cant find them or any others anywhere (at a reasonable price).

I did noticed them too to disappear.
What about them? The performance difference between CL8 and CL9 is quite dismissable (above 1600-1866 MHz).
If you can find kits with lower timing but for around the same price as ones with higher timing, go for it. Otherwise don't bother I say.
Thanks for the reply. I know that performance RAM means very little to fps in even the most demanding games, but its always worth looking to squeeze every drop of performance for your budget, for me at least. Do you have any suggestions for kits @1866MHz+? Or should I just be going for the cheapest?

im running team group 2400mhz (CL10) @ 1866 CL9
I have to admit that I know absolutely nothing about team group, but after a quick search, I'm very interested in getting a pair of 8GB sticks running at 2400MHz and 10-12-12-31 timings for £130 over at overclockers. Is the specific kit you're using the TeamGroup Xtreem LV "Frost Edition"?
Also, should i worry that the compatibility list only includes ivy bridge-e CPUs/mobos on the team website if I plan to put them in a Z97 haswell board?
