Re: Best low profile ram.
How fast do you want the RAM to go? From what I can tell, the Dark Rock Pro 3 can accommodate normal height memory, just not the tall heat spreaders. After the discontinuation of the Samsung Greens, I am not aware of any low profile memory at the moment but you may still be able to find some Greens around.
Scan have a number of Corsair Vengeance 'Low Profile' parts at different speeds which should fit under your heatsink (maybe more if you go through the menus rather than rely on search); http://www.scan.co.uk/search.aspx?q=...ce+low+profile
If not that, the Kingston HyperX series or TeamGroup memory could be an alternative.

Crucial Ballistix Sport VLP and Crucial Ballistix Sport VLP. They are very low profile. Lower that the memory socket clip (or at least the same). Reviews here:

Yeah... Sorry I mean normal height ram - or corsairs low profile. Just fast ram that doesn't have a heat spreader or is taller than normal height.. Should clarify that!
Re: Best low profile ram.
What about the Noctua D14? Low profile needed I assume?
Re: Best low profile ram.
check out Corsair LP ram as well as G skill Ripjaws/ Trident, pretty decent
Re: Best low profile ram.
I think the dark rock pro 3 can accomodate G.Skill Ripjaws X memory, though you might want to check that. If it can, then it's one of the better brands out there.
Re: Best low profile ram.
As has been mentioned, I love my Samsung Greens, had them tucked under a D14 nicely on a mITX board a while back.
Though what board are you using with the cooler?
