Help with some ram
Hi. so my laptop (ROG GL552) as a stick of Hynix 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 (this one http://www.memory4less.com/m4l_itemd...mid=1474022813) and i would like to know if it would work together with a stick of Kingston SO-DIMM DDR3L-1600Mhz 8GB (https://www.pcdiga.com/2/11276/Kings...paign=catalogo).
Can you help me?

Re: Help with some ram
There's a chance it might work however it would run the Hynix stick at the lower DDR3L voltage (1.35 instead of 1.5), on the other side there is also a chance it'd try to run the DDR3L at 1.5 volts which could destroy the stick. Ideally when mixing RAM you really want two sticks of identical spec, brand doesn't matter, but timings, speed and generation need to be identical, density being the same can also help too. Hope this helps you.
