Over the weekend, Billy West, the voice of Fry, confirmed that they were sorting out the details to produce 26 more episodes of Futurama :woo:

"It seems that Billy West got it wrong when he announced that there are 26 new episodes of Futurama on the way, and instead there will only be the 4 movies as planned."

I saw this a while ago, I'm sure the movies will be good.
Although I would prefer a 5th season.
Gah. That's a shame - I read about the new eps yesterday. Oh well, films are better than nowt.

Imho they should kill The Simpsons which tbh is getting a bit long in the tooth after 17 (!!) seasons, and start churning out some classic Futurama episodes...

The Simpsons are good too, but it seems that 2 episodes daily in primetime (at least where I live) with Futurama at 2:15 in the morning on Saturday is unfair. Futurama if a great program. Before they make new episodes they need to find a decent timeslot that doesn't involve decididing between getting a good nights sleep and watching the show.
Hopefully the movies will be hugely popular - and cue a recommisioning of the show!
If/when they come out I'll watch them to let my money vote for Futurama.
