2GB Corsair Dominator XMS2 8500:
TWIN2X2048-8500C5D = 2 Matched CM2X1024-8500C5D Dominator modules.
They are so BIG (physically) - if they perform as good as they look...... Yum yum
Thank's for the replies :) wow you must have a deep pocket to get the pc2-8500 stuff! The corsair seems to be the king of super high end atm. Good luck with them:) . I am not in that league, so it's pc-6400 for me. Possibly the cell shock cas4 ones, which have the d9's seem to be the winners so far for me:) .
Hello just wondering how you did with the asus commando.I just bought a asus commando to build a system with, any info you could share with me would be greatly appreciated. What was the best ram for the board?:juggle:
If anybody can help out,I will be installing a Core 2 duo e6850 on this board.

Hes taking the mick cause you posted in a thread which is old... posted in 2007 :P.

N Flames - welcome to Hexus!
Thank you for searching for the info before posting (I wish more people did that) - but you fell 'foul' of a sharp eyed Hexite who spotted an old thread revival - so heads you loose, tails you don't win! (Some people revive old threads just to boost their post count)
AZnyway - welcome - I hope yu get an answer to the question - and go on to have a long and happy experience as a member of the Hexus community!
Hi N_Flames and welcome
I don't know if this will help as I did not have this exact motherboard but my experience has shown that ASUS does not work very well with OCZ ram.
If you are looking to overclock your system then I would purchase
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/4GB-(...S-5-5-5-15-EPP
If you are running a 32 bit operating system (xp or vista) then it will only show 3.25 gig. People will say that 4 gig is excessive but it will give you a little more room for expansion.
If you are looking for a bargain then have a look on that famous internet auction site ( I just sold 2 gig of OCZ ram for £17 when I purchased it for £100 last year)
Hope this helps and there is always help @ HEXUS
Just get some cheap 4gb 800mhz stuff since 1066mhz isnt supported.
