    The Llano motherboards seemed overpriced!!

    The pre-order prices for the Llano motherboards seem really high:

    The Gigabyte A75-UD4H is listed at £114.95 but is meant to be under $120 in the US:

    With 20% VAT on a $120 price it would mean the motherboard should be no more than £90.

    still preorder prices though, the prices of the AM3+ 990 boards seem to have dropped around £10 since they have started coming into stock. I dont think i expected Llano to come in much cheaper than that, once they have settled in it looks like a top end llano platform will slot in below a bottom end i5 platform in terms of price which is pretty good value if you ask me!

    What is the difference between the A75-UD4H & D3H , just the extra usb 3 port ?

    I don't know what it is about gigabyte atm, they seem to be bringing out 10 different motherboards for each chipset, each one with very small changes.

    Yes, I noticed this as well. Currently eyeing a lot of stuff up as a friend wants a HTPC built......I was expecting Llano boards to start around £40

    Cheaper 65W Llano CPUs are starting to appear now. So hopefully some cheaper A55 motherboards from MSI for example will be released soon.

    The A55 lacks SATA3.0 and USB3.0 support. However,the A75 motherboards have dropped in price now:
