I just bought a Delta 92mm fan which runs at 3800RPM outputting 81CFM, my fan controller supports up to 3 fans and can apparently hold up 1.0A. My model on the Delta site states the fan goes up to 0.6A so I can use one with the controller.
How would I place this so it cools both the NB and VRMs sufficiently? Should I try and wedge it somewhere above both, have it exhausting the air or blowing the air down (I was thinking the GPU and CPU are close by = warm air?).
Or should I have it up right blowing horizontally?
I am not really sure how to get a fan on it, whether to wedge using duct tape, my heatsinks are finned at an angle so I can't screw it on.
I need it cool when overclocking and to use a fan controller so it doesn't sound like a plane taking off.
If this is in wrong section sorry, I just assumed its to do with motherboards and VRM cooling.
