    AM3+ board for ~£70

    Rather than carry on trashing the PD thread i may as well create a new one.

    I need a good, PD supported board and the limit is around £65-70. It will be taking a PII 955BE initially but obviously it's nice to know my mate can throw in an FX further down the line. Something that's stable and possibly offers alight overclock is ideal, along with something that has right-angle SATA ports.

    Scan has the 970 based Asus boards, with the R1.0 Pro board being in stock (and it does support PD) but i wonder if the R2.0 non-pro for the same price range is likely to support SR if it is indeed on AM3+.

    I think i'm definitely leaning more towards the Asus. The £10 difference isn't to be scoffed at either.
