Rampage IV Extreme BIOS issue

Hi,

I have been having a few minor issues with this board for a few months.

Basically randomly the system boots and will not show all of my HDDs or DVD/Blu Ray drives. I have to reboot, go to the bios and reboot and they come back.

Today it happened again, but when trying to go into the BIOS, I just get a dark screen which I came just make out a fuzzy dark image. This keeps happening even after flashing the bios and switching to the second bios chip.

I have tried reseting the CMOS but all it does is load the Asus logo, then go to a single dash at the top left or to the fuzzy screen if I try to boot the bios.

I have raise an RMA with Asus, but if anyone can help i'd prefer not to have to return it.

Does anyone know if Asus repair these or just send replacements?

Might just be a dying CMOS battery.
