    ASUS VS INTEL motherboard

    which motherboard is better for intel E8400 processor?
    ASUS P5G41T-M LX
    or
    INTEL DG41Wv

    my use is gaming (dota 1 and counter strike v1.6), design and simulations software and simple other uses. No GPU.

    Generally Intel boards come with much less features and support. Companies like Asus offer much better options and ongoing driver and bios support (although with your very mature CPU that won't affect you.) I did read that Intle have stopped making boards now too. Either way i'd vote Asus

    Agree, go for ASUS. They tend to have longer lasting support too and the customers of ASUS are to be found nearly everywhere, so it is easier to seek help if you encounter any issues. And you are more likely to successfully overclock the CPU on a ASUS board, gaining extra performance.
