Is the RAM firmly in the slots??
CPU Fan is a guess. Auto turn-off because it's overheating. Anyway open the case and check if the fans are working.
My other thought is it happens when the GPU powers up properly (Windows), which could be when it starts to draw power = PSU problem (and I see you have a Hiper, which has a chequered past).

tis not mine its my kids pc , going to try the psu today
cat - nothing had changed (everything working for 6 months) then suddenly this , hence my thought of mobo , but psu was also up there!
Sons PC did the exact same thing, no error codes or blue screens just straight off.
Replaced the PSU and it's fine now.
changed psu and still doing it P
Presume that you have checked fans working and that nothing has come loose? Have you tried swapping video card if possible?
I would disconnect all non essential USB and expansion cards and start from there.
Reset the BIOS, and verify that the fan is working on the CPU. If so it could be that you need to clean and reapply artic silver (or something similar) to the heatsink/fan on the CPU.
its shutting off as `barebones` - board+ram+cpu + keyboard on a testbench
board beeps without ram so its down to board or cpu - changed hsf and t/paste and still doing it (tied both stock amd heatpipe hsf and a freezer pro which they usually have on it)
Presumably a BIOS reset hasn't worked either?
shuts down when saving bios settings
Pop out the CMOS battery, and leave it out for a couple of minutes before putting it back. That will do the same thing.
no I meant can do the reset , but it shuts down when saving the new settings; pretty sure it`ll shut down if it just left it on idle on a bios reset as well
Wondering what the cut off settings are in the BIOS. Is it cutting out because a temp reading is getting higher than the cut off setting? Grasping at straws a bit...
just did a battery out restet and attempt to start with default settings and it shut off - external temp reader shows cpu never got above 40 degree`s
Corrupted BIOS/CMOS? As it is not the temperature. Voltage? But then again you said you tried a different PSU...
Try the motherboard with a different CPU and vice versa if you can.
If can't, apply for a RMA procedure from the motherboard's manufacturer?
