    Question UEFI - Windows 7 64bit ... Fast Boot?

Hi not sure where I should be asking this but was wondering if there was a way of speeding up my boot time.

My friend was telling me I need to do something with UEFI as it's an option in the bios?

I have an ASRock H61U3S3 mobo and just recently put a EVGA 750Ti SC graphics card in there and a 840 EVO 120GB SSD.

I basically want to turn off all those sata controller messages I keep seeing so I can get the machine to boot much quicker as without those it would be prettttty damn fast!

    Thanks for any insight!

Is there no setting in the BIOS for quick boot or bypass Post screens and dont asrock boards come with some instant boot function or is that just for windows 8 or waking from sleep?

If you don't use stuff like additional SATA controllers (or other controllers), you might be able to disable those in BIOS too, to reduce POST time. Be sure they're not in use though OFC.
