That's a shame. Do you happen to know if anyone is likely to replace him as an Asus rep on the Hexus Forum?

That was a short lived career!/trial period.

Explains why he never replied to my last thread.

Asus UK are totally crap at getting anything done and the USA forums won't help none US posters.

It's debatable. ASUS don't have a sponsored forum on HEXUS (though they do on Bit-Tech), but given my history with HEXUS it seemed crazy not to sign up an account here and provide what support I can.

I don't know whether a replacement has been hired yet, but when they are they are expected to provide support on ASUS partner forums. Whether HEXUS is considered part of their duties will be up to them and the wider ASUS UK staff.

Haha, definitely a career rather than a trial period! I was headhunted shortly after joining, which was unfortunate in some ways but what can you do?

Apologies for the lack of reply, it probably came during my departure.

Naturally I can't speak on behalf of ASUS, but my personal opinion would be that as far as problems with boards/firmware go, they aren't going to be fixed by ASUS UK as they don't develop the products - that's done by ASUS HQ in Taiwan. When I was at ASUS I frequently escalated problems to HQ, and they did make some progress (i.e. with the AC68U), but I wouldn't have been able to guarantee a fix as it was outside of the UK office.
