    MB For DAW Comp

    Hi Folks,

Im a little new to all this so just need a push in the right direction.

I am building a comp and want to know what MB to go for. It is going to be used as a DAW for ableton live using loads of plugins. whats a solid MB to use for a Kaby 7700k. No gaming will be done on it. Just need it to support 32GB Ram (pref 3000+) and the usual USB 3 etc.

Another quick question. If a MB has a DVI and HDMI on, will it support dual monitor or will I need a seperate card for dual.

    Thank you

    Mike

The Kaby Lake iGPU supports three 3840x2160@60hz monitors so generally the limitation is which ports then motherboard provides and you can assume that they'll all work at once unless stated otherwise.
