Nothing's "happened" to them, they haven't been released at all (in fact, I think the Biostar you mention is the only one that's even been announced).

I'd put money on most manufacturers waiting for the Ryzen APUs to drop - I know there's a small loyal following for high end mITX, but really it's far more popular in the HTPC market where the lower overall power requirements of the APUs will make a lot more sense.

Fingers crossed we'll see some X300/A300 boards released into the channel once the APUs come out, too - should make for a much cheaper motherboard.

Been trying to find a B350GTN for a mini ITX build but it's not happening, gonna have to go micro instead.

As I say, if you can wait for a few months I expect we'll see more companies targeting SFF when the APUs come out. mITX for high performance systems is pretty niche, so it's not surprising the companies are concentrating on (m)ATX with only the higher-end Ryzen 5 and 7 CPUs available at the minute.

Of course, the way a lot of mITX cases have gone in the last few years you don't actually get a smaller system going mITX vs mATX anyway. But for the sake of variety I would like to see some mITX boards come out before too long - AM4 is a perfect platform for SFF since it doesn't need a chipset...
