looking to try some new music...

    any suggestions?
any genre, anything modern, like around 10 years old, unless its a complete classic.

i mainly listen to metal/punk, so im looking for a bit of a change.

    Hmm.

Pendulum seem to be popular with all, try Voodoo People (remixed by Pendulum)

Other wise something like Lily Allen? The only album recently that I have listened all the way through...

Still unsure on their new album though....
Older stuff was much more fun to dance to. Actually, I was dancing around with a mate to insomnia at about 3am in a drunken state this weekend, which was rather fun

Any ideas what style Nick? If its electronic ill pump off a list

I second, third and fourth this. You can go and buy 1 of their cd's from anywhere, however they have done about 8 other mix cd's, which are available online. The DJ's are part of a Band called Soulwax.
The cd's in question are mixes from a radio show called.......
Radio Soulwax. Put simply they are multi-genre inventive 90 minute (ish) mash ups.

Check out the tracklisting of the shop available CD:

00 Kylie Minogue - Can't get you out of my head (Soulwax remix)
01 Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Peter Gunn (live)
    02 Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At (Head-A-Pella)
    03 Peaches - f**ck The Pain Away
04 Velvet Underground - I'm Waiting For The Man
    05 Polyester - J'Aime Regarder Les Mecs
06 Sly And The Family Stone - Dance To The Music
07 Ready For The World - Oh sheila (A Capella)
08 Dakar & Grinser - I Wanna Be Your Dog
    09 Ural 13 Diktators - Disko Kings
    10 Bobby Orlando - The - O Medley
11 Felix Da Housecat - Silverscreen Shower Scene
12 The Stooges - No Fun
    13 Salt 'n Peppa - Push It
14 Hanayo with Jürgen Paape - Joe Le Taxi
15 The Jets - Crush On You
    16 Funkacise Gang - Funkacise
17 Soul Grabber - Motocross Madness

    29 Dolly Parton - 9 to 5
    30 Royksopp - Eple
31 Arbeid Adelt - Death Disco
32 Jeans Team - Keine Melodien feat MJ Lan
    33 Skee-Lo - I Wish (A Capella)
34 Maurice Fulton presents Stress - My Gigolo
