I used to listen to "Luna Sea" stuffs which I was quite fond of. They split now but they're still like legend to some young rock bandsTry something like "JESUS" or "G".
Do as Infinity had a few tunes I liked - too bad they disbanded a while back.
B'z
Glay
Mr. Children
(Those guys have been around for AGES)
Miyavi
Nightmare
The Gazette
(Visual Kei/Rock)
Porno Graffitti
Dragon Ash [You might have heard them from the ending tune of Battle Royale]
Well, those are some on top of my head. To be honest, I am more leaning towards to J-Pop/R&B, with a bias for female artists less common in the 'J-Rock' as far as I know.. I like Maaya and Utada, but they aren't rock as far as I am concerned.
High and Mighty Color is a bit of a JRock/Pop mix with a female lead. I like them.
Utada Hikaru is Pop, and cheers for the list![]()
