Woah, that's harsh. I figured that this type of music wouldn't go down well with some fans of trance/dance music.. just like some fans of underground hip-hop do not think much of the 'pop-rap'. Still.. I went to take a look at the UK's entry in this year's Eurovision contest and.. I can't place them above Cascada

I'm no big clubber, and i'm have very strange and varied tastes in music and i'm telling you know that if you are honest there are will always be music that you like that isn't socially acceptable.

If you say you don't like stuff you do, enjoy being the sheep!.

Its acceptable and i'd listen to it and hell i'd dance to it if i'd been drinking in a club, its better than some stuff gets put on in the last hour in most normal clubs.

If you are a hardcore clubber i can see why you wouldnt like it tho.

    Yes, we are.

There will always be music that you can tolerate, and that which you can't. e.g some people can sit through the cheese fest that is eurovision, but it went off in favour of ASOT (A State of Trance) last night. *shudder*

TBH i would place cascada (and general euro-dance yuk) above eurovision in my list of music, in penultimate and last place, Maybe I'm just getting old and cynical.

Maybe your right, but at least the Eurovision song contest is entertaining. Obviously not musically, but it's funny (well most of it anyway). Especially when you realise how seriously some nations take it. I watched it for the first time fully on Saturday night as i decided i needed a night off the booze, i nearly wet myself. Terry Wogan is class, i'm i thought he was really pushing it with some of his comments.

Anyway it's only my opinion. There's good bad and there's bad bad.

As for this thread being pointless, i thought it was quite funny so it can't be entirely pointless.
