    good acoustic rock songs

me and 2 mates are going to have a "jamming" session tommorow, as we realised that when the three of us play acoustic stuff together, we are actually quite good

i was just wondering if some of you could reccomend some decent songs for us to play

    Thanks

Check out anything by a group called Days of the New. Awesome acoustic rock band.

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

If you want a challenge you could try 'Hey Child' by the little known but enormously talented Jon Gomm. Google around and you should be able to find some videos and a tab.

Quite alot of artists did an unplugged album, some were quite good I seem to remember. The Nirvana one was probably the best.

How about Up the Junction - Squeeze

or if you're a really good singer - Battle of Evermore, I also always liked 'Going to California'

Stairway is great have you heard the Rodrigo y Gabriela version?

look up Richard Thompson - Front Parlour Ballads is his most recent acoustic album (I really rate the acoustic sides on you?me?us?) Of his older songs consider Beeswing; Pavane and Great Valerio.

Another stunning acoustic songwriter is Nick Drake
