I Just found this trailer yesterday thanks to a friend and it looks to be an interesting concept ;

It's by the same guy who did lost so I hope it doesn't go on & on & on, but it does appear to be a very good film and the use of camcorders to record it alongside good visual effects might make it a winner.

So - What's it about? Anyone got any good ideas or theories ?

I saw this a while back....thought that there had already been a thread about it, but couldn't find anything.

Thought it was an excellent trailer, any decent doomsday/giant monster flick done well gets my vote...

Yeap - me too searched for a variety of terms to describe it.

I think the whole 'shot on camcorder' thing will make a few people moan, but from watching that trailer it does give the action that occurs an impeding sense of doom. It might not be shot using the latest and greatest HD cameras but I think the films gains atmosphere.

preaching to the converted, loved Blair Witch

there's a bit in the trailer, just before lady liberty makes a crash landing, when the main character gets onto the street, and realises that there's something heading towards them and turns to flee. The look of absolute pant filling terror on his face is just perfect. That one shot made me want to go and see the film.

Even though I'm sure it'll turn out to be pants and the critics will dump on it from a great height. Damn, I hate good trailers for crap films.
