In terms of Shyamalan, I prefer "Unbreakable". That said, "of all time"? It's either Shawshank or It's A Wonderful Life, and I honestly couldn't say which.

Re: WHAT IS YOUR BEST FILM OF ALL TIME

I've got to say I still love watching Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.

Stars Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro, directed by Terry Gilliam and based on a book by (and possibly, sorta, maybe realish life of) Hunter S. Thompson. What's not to love?

I second the Shawshank Redemption. You can watch it over and over again and it is still as fresh as when you first watched it.

Re: What is your best film of all time?

I can't stop watching Heat at the moment.

The conversation scene over coffee has to be one of the all time best scenes in any movie..ever. I can't help but have a stupid look of amazement on my face. The build up to it as well is a great suspense in itself, you're waiting to get the two on screen together for well over an hour and it delivers in spades when it actually happens.

The sound in the action sequences is awesome, really makes it feel scarily real compared to your run of the mill action sequences.

I've been on a bit of a crime/thriller kick recently and this is just the cream of the crop, if you havn't seen it you need to and if you have and it's not in your top 5.. shame on you

The story is great, it's almost 3 hours long but not a moment of it is wasted. The direction and photography is awesome, Michael Mann was really at his best with this movie. I think I could go on for hours about how good this movie is.

As much as I like The Shawshank Redemption, it just can't touch Heat imo. Do I like Heat more than God Father Part 2.. I think I do you know
