Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
I saw Prince recently and thought he was amazing..the acoustics less so and that affected the almost perfect set. Seen the Scissor Sisters...good on the whole but too much talking...
Alison Moyet is always worth a visit if not for a glimpse of nostalgia(though she has jazzed up with age) but her ability to get the banter just right...
Re: Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
From what youve listed already, I couldnt really recommend anyone. I personally like Kasabian live, Saw them at V Festival this year and they were great!
Re: Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
Madonna, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Muse, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Polysics, Pendulum and We are Scientists have all been the most memerable acts I have seen. Its a close call between Basement Jaxx and Muse as to which was a better set, both were sublime for different reasons.
Re: Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
Don't be mislead by my mentions...I have very eclectic tastes...Really fancied seeing Madonna...but the ticket prices seem massively inflated. Basement Jaxx another on the wish list
Re: Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
Amen, if you dont mind getting down the front and hopping round like a loon, genuinely the most energetic band ever.
Re: Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
Rodrigo Y Gabriela
they are out of this world. seen them 4 times now.
Re: Who would you reccomend seeing "live"
Daft Punk

Daft Punk
oh and Daft Punk.
Seriously, they've blown my socks off twice now, just see them.
Also good:
Dj Shadow
Chemical Brothers
Aim (Bizzarely Relaxed)
Nathan Fake (i felt like i was high)
Scratch Perverts
Pendulum
Lemon Jelly
Special note
Mr Scruff. Seeing him live is great, he only seams to do nice long sets that take 5 hours which not only means good value for money, but a great nice out with a pace that changes well, reacting to the room, controlled by someone who's clearly a master.

Mono have a few mid-November UK dates. They're a japanese instrumental/epic band - seen them twice and they're bloody amazing.
Jesu are a bit of an acquired taste, and even so, aren't particularly good anyway. So they're worth skipping. Mono, however... gosh.
