    Stardust

Okay, so it's probably classified as a chick flick. But has anyone here watched it, and enjoyed it too? I know there are shortcomings to the (simple) storyline, yet the movie was delivered in such a way that I didn't mind and was happy when I left the theatre.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good too. Pretty funny, and some a lot of nice touches, with the humour definitely being very British in flavour.

Lol, I also found her entirely adorable in this movie. The 'glow' worked for me. I don't remember her in many movies, in part because I've not seen many movies staring her, but also because I didn't find some of her characters that memorable. For instance, I would associate "Claire Danes" with "My So Called Life" and "Romeo + Juliet", but totally forgot her technically relevant role in the Terminator 3 (was only reminded after looking up on IMDb).
But I've heard that the story as told in the book is a little darker - I am looking to order it, but I am getting a headache picking an edition out of all the choices (I've got this problem with most books - why do they have to have so many editions?).

I saw it a few weeks back too and found it really enjoyable. The bit where the brothers are having drinks and dropping dead was cracking me up hehehe.

Hadn't seen a movie like it in ages, was thoroughly enjoyable.

    Re: Stardust

    Great film

Though the end deviates from the book it certainly gives you the feel of the essence of the book

I love to see a big screen adaptation of Neverwhere

    Re: Stardust

I saw it at home when I was sick and I was quite disappointed I must say...
I mean it was ok, but nothing more. Quite childish in my opinion and also quite predictable.
