I thought that too, but I really enjoyed the film. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so I'll try and not give to much info away:

I thought the bit with his dog was really sad! You didn't see what was happening, but you still knew. The thumping on the glass and the end as well...

Re: I am legend --- CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS

Was entertaining [in a Hollywood-Mega-Blockbuster kind of way] but nothing special. I haven't read the book but I think the film would have been better if they went into the behavioural patterns and social structure of the ... uh ... zombie things.

Still well worth seeing for Will Smiths performance though
I totally agree! It was a good film and I'm quite a huge fan of Will Smith too
But it wasn't all that special, it was good but nothing more.
Good sound effects, at least they made me jump a couple of times went to the cinema to see it of course.

There is an alternate ending here. Which I preferred.

That's a heck of a lot better than the theatrical ending; more powerful and a damn sight less cheesy. I haven't read the book yet so don't know how it compares, but the film's original ending really didn't do anything for me at all apart from just spoil an enjoyable film.

I hope the DVD/whatever release contains both versions with the option to seemlessly switch between them. If it doesn't, I'll probably skip it until it appears in the bargain bin.
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good

Re: I am legend --- CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS

That endings loads better, mind you at least with the theatrical ending theres no real room for a sequal, with the other ending they could cash in when they get bored and do another one...

Not many films from any genre beat 28 days later in my book

Anyone else notice the 'daysleepers' look a LOT like the robots from I Robot?
