went and saw it last night. absolutely brilliant!! it was well thought out although as usual i hate the moving cameras cuz it makes me sick. the story is not bad and i felt that i understood most of it at least enough to not have to google it after watching it

Might be going to see that tomorrow with a mate of mine. I've heard lots of good things about it so far and I hope it lives up to expectations.
I enjoyed it up until the last 30-45 minutes - without spoilers, I felt it was a bit of a cop out - not bad but I went away feeling a bit disappointed to be honest.. (I am a misery guts though!) :D
If you have read the book don't expect it to be anything like it... at all lol The main character has the same name.. but thats about it.
That said, I thought it was a really great movie. Quite intense, you find yourself wanting to shout at the screen a bit :laugh:
The ending.. well I won't spoil it.. it's an ending lol
I'll probably find myself wanting to shout at those in the row behind me (foot on back of where I'm sitting, rocking away); far roo many ignoramuses about :angst: Still I'd like to see it on a big screen ... DVDs only go so far.Quote:

Just got back from watching it. I fail to see how anyone would have difficulty understanding it - it's a pretty simple plot ... recommended all the same :)

thought it was quite good, although found the back story a bit weak, the few glimpses you get during the movie you'd expect a bit more. However, it's not absolutely central to what goes on, and I found Will Smith's performance top notch - and I am never a fan of his.
It was a good film, and Will Smith did well in it :)
The ending wasnt great though - far far too sudden..like it wasn't finished off. Its a worrying trend with films lately, its like they just run out of money so tac on a cheap ending..
Still well worth seeing for Will Smiths performance though :)
Read the book for the real ending ;)
