    Jean Micheal Jarre has announced he's playing in Manchester at the Opera house this year

    55 quid a ticket but I don't give a monkeys as it's going to be fantastic.

    Anyone else seen this french electronica genius ?

    never seen the guys shows properly, but i've heard they are amaxing.

    would love to see one actually. don't know the music, but i don't think you need to, it's all about the visuals and the performance isn't it?

    Yep, i went to the extremely rainy Docklands gig a few years ago..good fun even though i got drenched.
    Really like Jarre's older material, Oxygene and Equinoxe and a few tracks here and there of his later material. His gigs are pretty amazing though so if you're not keen on the music there's always the pyrotechnics to watch!
    I have lots of material similar (better) to Jarre, but he's the one who sparked my interest in synth, electronic (instrumental) music.

    I was lucky enough to see Kraftwerk at Manchester - so I'd certainly welcome seeing JMJ as well

    Jarre, Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream all have had some memorable gigs..will probably venture out to Manny if funds allow

    Still liked "Le Parc" from TD - probably as I always wanted the bike from Street Hawk
