Pan's Labyrinth - A Cinematic Masterpiece!
Watched this film with the mrs last night after hearing good things about it since it's release. Didn't know quite what to eqpect from a Spanish film, but all I can realy say is that it left me gobsmacked with a bag of mixed emotions & a tear in my eye.
It it quite the most moving, brutal, but beutiful & tender film I have ever watched. I mistakenly thought it would be similar to Labyrinth, or Krull, or something of that ilk. How wrong was I! If you've been toying with the idea of watching it I recomend you do so, at once!
(ps, it's utterly unsuitable for kids, the certification is about right in my opinion)

Yep. Quality film, can't go wrong with it. Truly well crafted grown up film that weaves two worlds together quite seamlessly and uniquely. Thoroughly recommended watch :)

One of those films that leaves you thinking 'wow' when the credit roll :)
Re: Pan's Labyrinth - A Cinematic Masterpiece!
Pan's Labyrinth is one of my favourite films, it's just completely different to anything else that i have seen lately. The person that directed it - Guillermo del Toro - is directing the new Hell Boy film, so i have higher than normal hopes that it will be good. From the trailer it certainly looks like it will be quite entertaining.
