This is England. Shocking, and depressing but good references to the 80s.

Saw the nines..had me thinking for like an hourCouldnt figure out, but now I see the light
. It was very intelligent.
Check out my Tech Blogs: Budget Gaming Rigs and The Droid ReviewHomer Simpson: "It takes two to lie Marge. One to lie, and one to listen"
Michael Clayton - good pic. quite 70's-like
Cloverfield, was a bit 'meh'.
Cinema = spiderman 3
DVD = potc 3
hi-def = blade runner
Resident Evil: Extinction
Not bad, better than I would have thought. The word "cheese" springs to mind thought. Game > Movies.
Last film I saw was Battlestar Galactica... for like the 10th time. Man I love BSG more than life it's self!![]()
Sunday:
Cinema = 10,000 BC - ok film, not great. Good popcorn flick.
DVD = 16 Blocks - one of Brucies better films of late, a good performance, Mos Defs voice is the most irritating voice yet. However, he ends up being likeable (strange but true). Decent film. good old Richard Donner.
Watched Anchor Man at friends on Saturday night and then Howl's Moving Castle on sunday.
First films i've watched in aaages
Howl's was great, love the animation. Anchor Man was ok, wouldn't watch it again.
recently watched
10,000 BC = good
Jumper = good (quite like it and yes very marvel kinda movie)
be kind rewind = good funny
the other boleyn girl = boring (GF's choice)
vantage point = bad incredibly annoying nearly left the after seeing the third scene
semi-pro = supid funny
juno = didn't like it so much bit too sappy for my taste (another GF's choice)
shoot em up = crazy shooting as the name suggests so nothing more than that, but the chick had a nice rack quite hot too so i managed to finish the movie
simpsons the movie = really excellent (i'm a fan)
RE:Extinction = loved it
i've got one of them unlimited card
I didn't like Vantage Point.
Saw The Brave One on DVD the other day and didn't much like that either.
I enjoyed Rambo.
Saw SuperBad on DVD and enjoyed that too.
I saw Shoot 'Em Up, Monica Bellucci was the only good thing in it. Otherwise, I have to say I think it's one of the worst films I've ever seen.
I've also got the unlimited card, it's good, especially as it was bought for me.![]()
I so want one of those unlimited cards!! The showcase and odeon near me don't do them though, and the cineworld is too far.![]()
10,000BC at a tiny cinema in Canada, really enjoyed it. 2 hours of pure escapism, with a really well worked ending.
Considerably better than Semi-Pro, which was 90 minutes of a wheezy Will Ferrell really struggling to come up with laughs. The funniest people in it were the commentators by a mile, especially with that "failing to support the spine" comment
Still reckon he set the bar too high with Anchorman, everything else since hasn't come anywhere near the genius of that film.
