    Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree

A fair bit different to their previous stuff

Very chilled - nice to come back from a long day and drop on. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

It's a lot more like Felt Mountain than their last two albums.

I have to admit that I haven't given it much of a listen so far. I think I'll end up re-discovering it in 6 - 12 months time. I do that a lot

Listening to the new Elbow, Guillemots and Nick Cave (and the Bad Seeds) albums quite a bit at the moment.

it's pretty folksy for goldfrapp, at least the first half is.

Fantastic CD I thought, had it since release and listened to it a lot, better than Supernature IMO but I don't think it is quite as good as Black Cherry, don't think it will last as long somehow.

Problem for me is it doesn't have any real stand out tracks for me, like Hairy Trees on Black Cherry, just me though.

Clowns is a gorgeous song though (even if the lyrics are somewhat dubious) and Caravan Girl is good and lively. A&E is still my favourite track though.
