Who would like to see a Master and Commander sequel?

I loved this film when it first came out and the Bluray version is very very good but its been a long time and there has yet to be a sequel.

Who else would like to see one?

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

Film was fantastic, there's lots of Patrick O'Brian books with some great storys to choose from so it wouldn't be hard to do well.

I've read 17 of the O'Brian series on Aubrey/Maturin, and really enjoyed the lot. Don't tell anyone... (but you can get them as decent audiobooks from torrent sites), or, of course you could, ahem, buy them off amazon

Re: Who would like to see a Master and Commander sequel?

I'd like to see the hornblower books made into films with a decent budget. They stopped making the TV series because the costs were too high, but the smaller Grand Turk with 30 extras doesn't quite stand in for the Indy and her 310 officers and crew. I can't imagine the cost of showing Nelson's funeral procession along the Thames would fit in with a small screen budget.
A film would have the budget required for a larger cast, and could stay closer to the novels, without the adaptions required by the smaller budget. The novels detailing Hornblower's later career have the better stories.
