Guillermo del Toro co-wrote the screenplays so he was bound to direct the films too. I thought the creature design was one of the best things about the film.

The creatures were fantastic. I really really liked Giant's Causeway actually being a giant.

I thought this one was a little better than the first...

Decent film, not the best, just seen it. I enjoyed it nevertheless.

I read somewhere that Guilleme had wrote the screenplays for 3 films so its very likely.

I`ve heard that in the comics Hellboy leaves the Agency and the end of the film showed him quitting so it could be that way they are going
