I have seen the trailers on the big screen. It's one of the clearest films I have seen, the special effects are spot on.

    Re: Hellboy 2

I have high hopes for this, considering the Hellboy series was a big driving factor in del Toro's career choice.

Great looking set and costume design too.

    Re: Hellboy 2

I just got back from watching this film, its good. If you liked the first one you will like this one, its got its advantages and disadvantages compared to the first one, so i cant really say its better or worse. Action parts were pretty good, cgi etc was also good.
If i were to rate it id say either an 8 or a 9, cant give any film a 10 as there is always one issue .

I can't really remember the 1st one, other than I really enjoyed it, and this wasn't bad either.

Same, the 10 doesn't exist! But 8 and 9s are rare too, so it's more like a 6.5/7

    Re: Hellboy 2

What was the singing scene about? I thought there were too many cheesy, 'kiddy' moments overall. Good film otherwise, maybe 6.5/10 imo.

i really wished that they didnt use the pan's labyrinth director cuz most of the characters just reminded me of pan's. its supposed to be more comic than fantasy.

Guillermo del Toro co-wrote the screenplays so he was bound to direct the films too. I thought the creature design was one of the best things about the film.

Seriously, the man is a visionary and a cinematic genius. Pans labyrinth is one of my favourite movies, cant wait to see HB2.
